For the People of the United States of America, and its Commonwealth (yes, there is such a thing as a commonwealth of the United States), we prefer to believe that the people are intelligent, educated and responsive to the International Community, perhaps even socially, culturally and politically aware. And for those we have nothing but high praise and solidarity.
To the remainder of the U.S. population that are not children, disabled, mentally disabled, struck down in poverty, disadvantaged or simply isolated geographically or socially, we say clearly and most emphatically, only the people are your Government, you have no other means.
You have no need of a military, if the circumstances of War do not exist. And while there are some in America proper whom will do their utmost to convince you that there is another new threat you face, the Peace is telling you now, that your options in this World are few and far between.
